About

Cody Hodgins is a Canadian-American actor and performer based in New York City working across film, tv, and theatre.

A graduate of York University’s BFA Theatre Performance Creation program in Toronto, he has performed regionally and in NYC. Most recently, he toured as Young Scrooge in Sundog Theatre’s production of A Christmas Carol and appeared as Dan in their original work The Perfect Bundt. He originated lead roles in Marshmallow and Once in a Hundred Years, both original works developed through the Powerhouse Theatre Acting Training Program, where he also played Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Additional credits include Billy Ray Jr. in On Golden Pond at The Winnipesaukee Playhouse and Dark in There’s a Ghost in the House, a student-led original piece created at York University.

Cody brings a strong foundation in physical theatre, stage combat, and choreographed movement to his work, and is vocally trained as a tenor by Doug Paulson, a professor of voice and speech at NYU. His dynamic stage presence, collaborative spirit, and classical training make him a strong asset to both new and established productions.
